Halo Infinite Glitch gives access to co-op mode –

Infinite Halo it hit PCs and Xbox consoles in early December and multiplayer a few days earlier, but fans are still awaiting the launch of the co-op function for the campaign. However, one player has discovered that, through a sequence of commands, co-op mode can be accessed.

Twitter user @nobleactual64 found a way to take advantage of the functionality files already available in the game code. After taking the user offline, connecting a second controller and performing other commands on the loading screen, he is able to enable split screen. See how he did it in the video below:

The player even warns that doing the process may corrupt the game’s saved data. Therefore, anyone further into the main story is recommended not to try to access the functionality. The user also points out that the second player’s screen has no HUD (onscreen information), the plot has parts missing and there are other progression errors.

As it is not an official version of the co-op mode, it is normal that these errors are found, mainly due to the lack of files that will only be available when the functionality is released.

The cooperative campaign of Infinite Halo still has no release date revealed. The game starring Master Chief is available for PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Series S and is also part of the Game Pass catalog.
