An earthquake measuring 4.4 on the Richter scale shakes Milan without causing injuries or damage –

The earthquake originated in the province of Bergamo, in the Lombardy region, confirmed the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV). The epicenter of the shock took place in the small town of Bonate Sotto, where the mayor said that “there was no alarmism or panic among the people”, when he said he felt the shock when he was in office.

The Italian city of Milan shook this Saturday morning with an earthquake measuring 4.4 on the Richter scale. The natural phenomenon occurred around 11:34 am (10:34 am in Portugal) and no major damage was recorded, according to the first information released by the Italian media.
