EMA has already approved three treatments for covid-19 and is now evaluating five more –

This month alone, Ronapreve and Regkirona were approved, which were the first monoclonal antibodies to receive the ‘green light’ from the European regulator. These join the antiviral Veklury (remidesivir), authorized in June 2020 to enter the European Union (EU) market.

The European Medicines Agency (EMA) has approved, since the beginning of the pandemic, three pill treatments against covid-19 and is now evaluating another five and another one is under continuous review.
