It’s time for Abel Ferreira to try to repeat last year’s glory, in the final of the Copa Libertadores da América. On Sunday, Chelsea will host Man. United by Fernandes and Ronaldo.
In January of this year, Abel Ferreira became the second Portuguese coach in history to win the Copa Libertadores da América, with Palmeiras. Jorge Jesus had already achieved the feat, in 2019, at the command of Flamengo. This Saturday, in Montevideo, Uruguay, at 20:00, Palmeiras and Flamengo – the last two champions – will face each other in the final of the 2021 edition of this competition. This will be, in fact, the first time that Flamengo and Palmeiras will face each other in a game counting for the Copa Libertadores.
