Lesbian and transsexual women without a partner with access to assisted reproduction in the public system in Spain –

The measure has long been demanded by LGBT rights groups (Lesbians, Gays, Bisexuals and Transgender) and is part of the effort to promote equality by the left-wing government led by the Spanish Socialist Workers Party (PSOE).

According to a ministerial decree signed this Friday by the Spanish Health Minister, Carolina Darias, women without a partner, lesbians, bisexuals and transsexuals in Spain will have access to assisted reproduction in the public health system.
