Homeowners in the US state of Missouri narrowly escaped an accident. They were asleep when a runaway car entered the roof of the house, a few meters from the couple’s bedroom.
According to the station, Fox 2, the case occurred in the city of Eureka, when two teenagers were returning from a graduation party. They lost control of the vehicle and hit a tree, which caused the vehicle to roll over a landfill, entering the roof of the house.
Images from the city’s fire department show the Chevrolet Malibu held vertically in the house. The car crashed into one of the bathrooms.
Neither the couple who owned the house, nor their son or the two teenagers who drove the vehicle were injured.
“If you look at that crash, you ask, how come someone didn’t die? It’s literally incredible,” said Scott Barthelmass, a spokesman for the fire department.
