Marian Vajda will train Alex Molcan in Rome!

Marian Vajda comes back to coaching after breaking up with Novak Djokovic. At the beginning of March, the coach and the Serbian tennis player announced the separation, after years and Gramde Slam titles won. A choice actually made after the ATP Finals in Turin; the announcement, however, was postponed due to the media storm surrounding the Djokovic case in Australia.

A break that was announced via social media, with a post published on the official profiles of the world’s number one. There have been several rumors about the reasons that led to this separation, but it was the Slovak who put a stop to it.

In a recent interview with Pravda, Vajda returned to the relationship with Djokovic and revealed the reasons for this decision: “He wanted to focus more on the Grand Slams and it was no longer necessary to have such a large team.

He only wanted one coach alongside him and the choice fell on Goran Ivanisevic. There was no reason for us to be more.” The coach, also unveiling the main goals of the world number one this season. Once this breakup took place, therefore, Marian Vajda decided to go ahead and choose a new player: the choice fell on Alex Molcan.

To announce it, both the coach and the tennis player, again through their social profiles. The announcement was followed by the facts: the Slovakian coach followed his compatriot in training ahead of the Internationals in Rome.

In the Italian tournament, the world number 47 has to face the qualifiers before being able to access the main draw.

A new experience that obviously did not escape his former player, Novak Djokovic. The Serbian tennis player congratulated his old coach, but did not fail to warn him for the future. “Good luck to both of you … except when you play against me,” he wrote jokingly the number of the world, just in response to the instagram post in which Vajda announced the good news.
