“Olympique de Marseille have reached an agreement with English club Arsenal FC for 28-year-old Bosnian centre-back Sead Kolašinac. After the success of his medical visit, Sead signed up with the Olympian club until June 30, 2023. The good deal for OM
For the Marseillais, this operation is timely. It was a question of filling the departure on loan from the Nice side of Jordan Amavi. At 28, Kolašinac is an experienced player who has regularly played in the European Cup with the clubs he played for (Schalke 04 and Arsenal). If he is not French-speaking, he could still use his experience to manage a rather young workforce.
Another advantage of the left side, he arrives free of any contract in Marseille. With six months left at Arsenal, he reached an agreement with the Gunners to be released. OM have therefore not started their transfer budget to bring him in, he who has been trying to revive for two seasons. Last year, during the second half of the year, he had already been loaned to Schalke.
