The President of Olympique de Marseille, Pablo Longoria, in an interview for Tuttosport, returned to the rumors of a future sale of the club by Frank McCourt, the American owner. For the Spaniard, McCourt’s position is however clear, since he had already clarified in January that the club was not for sale.
“The rumors about the sale of the club surprise me. Since January, the owner made a statement, he came here, he told the fans that this club is not for sale. I still talk to him about plans for the future. There is a lot of interest in destabilizing the club. At the moment, however, I am sorry to disappoint those who spread such rumours: Marseille is not for sale.
