Hector Herrera will change air. At the end of the contract with Atlético de Madrid at the end of this 2021/2022 season, the 31-year-old Mexican midfielder could therefore sign up for the club of his choice for next season. He has just opted for Houston Dynamo which he will join after the end of this season.
The American franchise announced the news in a press release: “Houston Dynamo FC has signed Mexican national team captain Héctor Herrera on a pre-contract until the 2024 season with an option for 2025, the club announced today. Herrera will join Dynamo this summer as a Designated Player pending receipt of his international transfer certificate and P-1 visa. The former FC Porto will have lived three seasons at Atlético de Madrid winning La Liga 2020/2021.
