Roger Federer will end his glorious career at the upcoming Laver Cup! The 20-time Major winner has failed to recover from a nasty knee injury that has ruined his career in the past three years. The Swiss gave everything to play competitive tennis again, although it was impossible after constant setbacks.
After much thinking, Federer decided to retire at the Laver Cup in ten days, heading to retirement as one of the most accomplished players of all time. The entire tennis world has praised the Swiss and everything he has given to our sport, including the past and current players and coaches.
Andre Agassi is one of them, honoring Roger and saying that his tennis made tennis more beautiful.
Roger Federer and Andre Agassi exchanged praises.
Federer responded with a warm message, saying that Agassi’s words mean a lot to him and enjoying their duels over the years.

Roger delivered his first victories over Andre at the Masters Cup in Houston 2003. The Swiss prevailed in the round-robin stage and left the more experienced rival behind in the title clash in a 6-3, 6-0, 6-4 triumph. Roger came from a set down and ousted Andre in the 2004 Indian Wells semi-final, beating the American for the third time in a row and leveling the overall score at 3-3.
Half a year later, Federer won the cracker against Agassi at the US Open, prevailing in five sets in the quarter-final and remaining on the title course.
