Famous survival expert Bear Grylls reacted to Roger Federer’s retirement message, suggesting that they should embark on a new adventure now that Federer’s time freed. “Always humble, kind, honest and grateful.

Tennis will never quite be the same again. Yet you’ve set the stage for millions to dream and to follow. 🙌 And now we have time for some more adventures!” wrote Bear Grylls on Instagram. Federer responded positively.

“Let’s go, thanks for the nice words,” the Swiss Maestro replied.

Roger Federer already had the Bear Grylls experience

If Federer decides to go on a new adventure with Grylls, he won’t be at his maiden one.

Back in 2017, during his famous hike with Bear Grylls, Roger Federer had to swallow a blood-filled fish eye during the unique experience. Also, Roger climbed through the snow of the Alps, played a high-altitude ping-pong match with Bear Grylls — which he won 11-9 — and went ice-fishing.

To his surprise, his companion cut out one of the eyes of the fish caught by Roger and ate it. Grylls asked Federer to do the same. Federer complied, even though he admitted it tasted awful. “So bad. I can’t believe I did it.

I just needed a sip of water to just clear it out”. Roger Federer said after he swallowed the fish’s eye. The Swiss maestro impressed even the rough-edged Grylls who admitted that Roger is one of his heroes. “This journey for me has been such a privilege.

They often say ‘You must never meet your hero’, but in this case, he really lived up to the expectations”. After Roger Federer’s appearance on the TV show, stars like Uzo Aduba, Brie Larson, Armie Hammer, Channing Tatum, Bobby Bones and more have gathered the courage to take on the challenge.

According to his IMDB description, “Bear Grylls was born on June 7, 1974 in Isle of Wight, England. He is a producer and writer, known for You vs. Wild: Out Cold (2021), The Count of Monte Cristo and You vs. Wild (2019). He has been married to Shara Cannings-Knight since January 19, 2000. They have three children.”
