In Puidoux, Switzerland, everything is ready for the ASGI Lavaux Ladies Open, a LET Access tournament that will take place on the Golf de Lavaux course. This is the fourth to last event of the circuit before the end of the season and there will be seven Italians at the start who will try to get a prestigious result.
First of all Lucrezia Colombotto Rosso, who won the opening tournament (the Golf de Terre Blanche) last April 2 and is tenth in the order of merit of LETAS. In addition to the Piedmontese, Clara Manzalini (28 / a in the ‘money list’), Erika De Martini (40 / a), Sara Berselli (47 / a) and Martina Flori (90 / a) are also present.
Two amateurs will also participate in the event: Alessia Fornara and Caterina Tatti.

Puidoux is 663 m above sea level. M., 12 km east of the canton capital of Lausanne (as the crow flies). The village extends in the valley of the Forestay stream, in a wide depression between Mont de Gourze in the west and Mont Pèlerin in the east, north-east of Lake Geneva, in the Vaud Mittelland.
The area of the 22.9 km² large municipal area includes a section of Lavaux on the north-eastern shore of Lake Geneva (around 2.5 km of lake shore line) and the heights bordering to the north. In the southern part of the municipality, the steepest slopes of the Lavaux with an average inclination of around 40° belong to Puidoux between the wine-growing villages of Epesses and Rivaz.
This bluff is separated by the height of Le Signal (660 m above sea level) from the Plaine du Verney, a wide basin of the Forestay in which the residential and commercial area of Puidoux is located. The Lac de Bret drinking water reservoir (674 m above sea level) is also located in the catchment area of the Forestay.
In the west, the municipal area extends over the Bois de la Vulpillière forest (734 m above sea level) bordering the lake to the slope of Mont de Gourze (at Bois de Romont 800 m above sea level). To the north, the municipal soil extends over the watershed between the Rhone and Rhine catchment areas, which runs here in a largely flat area, into the Molasse hill country adjoining the Jorat to the south-east.
In the extreme north lies the Montagne des Carboles (792 m above sea level), which is bounded by the Grenet to the west and the Corbéron to the east, both streams which feed the Broye with their water. The eastern boundary of the Puidoux area is formed by Mont Chesau (985 m above sea level), Mont Pèlerin, on whose slope at 990 m above sea level M.
the highest point of the municipality is reached, as well as the Salenche stream, which has its source on Mont Pèlerin and flows to Lake Geneva. In 1997, 8% of the municipal area was for settlements, 25% for forest and copses, 64% for agriculture and a little less than 3% was unproductive land.
Puidoux includes the commercial area near Puidoux train station and the hamlets of Treytorrens (383 m asl) on the slope of Lavaux, La Croix (630 m asl) and Goy (682 m asl) above the vineyards, Publoz (620 m asl) in the Forestay valley, Vers la Chapelle (684 m asl) south of the village of Puidoux, Lôche (687 m asl) and Cremières (710 m asl) on the south-west slope of Mont Pelerin.
In addition, numerous farm settlements and individual farms also belong to the municipality. Neighboring municipalities of Puidoux are Bourg-en-Lavaux, Forel (Lavaux), Oron, Chardonne, Saint-Saphorin (Lavaux), Chexbres and Rivaz in the canton of Vaud and Granges (Veveyse) in the canton of Fribourg.
