Nick Kyrgios sued by Polish woman!

Nick Kyrgios was denounced by his ex-girlfriend, Chiara Passari, for domestic violence last December and will face trial in his Australia. While the latter, however, has been postponed by six weeks, thus avoiding the coincidence in time with the US Open, a new complaint hangs over the winner of the Washington tournament.

To accuse Kyrgios is Anna Palus and the complaint is for defamation for the facts dating back to the times of the Wimbledon final. The final between Novak Djokovic and Nick Kyrgios took place at the Center Court. After a first set played at a high level and won by the Australian, with the passage of time the Serbian has increasingly increased his level of play, winning the remaining three halves.

A nervous Kyrgios also took over the victory of the former number one, who began to rant with the crowd: in particular, with a fan who seemed drunk, according to the Wimbledon finalist.

The facts of Wimbledon and the denunciation

The Wimbledon finalist had complained, during the Wimbledon final lost to Novak Djokovic, of being out of focus due to people behind him talking during the points.

When the referee asked to identify the subject, Kyrgios pointed to the girl and added: “The one in her dress, the one who seems to have had about 700 drinks, brother!” The Polish fan indicated has decided to denounce the Canberra tennis player: the accusation is that of having received both pecuniary damage, having been escorted out of the stadium, and image damage.

“Mr. Kyrgios’ false accusation has been transmitted and read by millions of people around the world, causing me and my family very substantial damage and distress,” the fan subject of Kyrgios’ abuse wrote in the statement.

Fan Anna Palus also wanted to specify the subsequent purposes of her complaint: she stated that she will donate compensation if she wins the lawsuit and that she will go to the Supreme Court if necessary. Kyrgios, meanwhile, will be one of the great protagonists of the US Open 2022.

The Australian player, due also to Novak Djokovic’s likely absence, will be one of the main favorite to the final win.
