In California, after a disappointing first round, Jon Rahm’s reaction came. The Spaniard, in the second round of the Farmers Insurance Open, a PGA Tour tournament, with a partial of 67 (-5) out of a total of 140 (73 67, -4) strokes, recovered from 116th to 14th position .
In San Diego, the world number 3 – who is back from two consecutive successes on the circuit – thus extended the streak of consecutive cuts passed (it has now reached 22) which began in 2021. At Torrey Pines GC, where in 2017 right at the Farmers Insurance celebrated his first title on the PGA Tour and where he triumphed at the US Open in 2021, the Basque scored an eagle and five birdies, with two bogeys.
