Michele Reale finished eighth with 142 (69 73, -2) strokes in Stage 1 of the Qualifying School of the Legends Tour, held at the Gloria Golf Resort in Belek in Turkey, and had access to the final scheduled on the same course from 20 to January 23rd.
Instead, the amateur Franz Pfoestl remained out, 64th with 162 (77 85, +18).

The tournament, over a distance of 36 holes with participants alternating on the Old Course and New Course, both par 72, was dominated by the Scots who took first place with Doug McGuigan (136 – 69 67, -8 ), the second with Greig Hutcheon (137, -7) and the fourth with Paul Blaikie (139, -5), while the English Simon Griffiths (138, -6) finished in third and the Irishman Damian Mooney in fifth (140, -4).
Among the qualifiers Alain Boghossian, 20th with 147 (+3), former footballer, World Champion with France in 1998 who wore the shirts of Naples, Sampdoria and Parma in Italy. In 2021, at the Italian Open held at the Marco Simone Golf & Country Club in Guidonia Montecelio (Rome) where the Ryder Cup will take place from 29 September to 1 October, he caddyed his compatriot Alexander Levy.
A total of 43 players were promoted who will join the 31 admitted by right in the scheduled final over 72 holes. After 54, all those classified within eight strokes of the last place that grants the ‘card’ for the 2023 circuit will access the last round.
Among the members, many competitors who have already been on the circuit such as the Spaniards José Manuel Carriles and Carl Sunesson, the British David Shacklady and Paul Streeter, the Swiss André Bossert and the Swede Magnus P.
Atlevi, to name a few. Gloria Golf Resort has hosted the Turkish Seniors Open on four occasions between 1998 and 2007, as well as Challenge Tour events. Boghossian started his career with Olympique de Marseille but did not progress beyond the reserve team.
As a result, he was loaned out to Ligue 2 side FC Istres in 1992 to gain match practice. After his return in the summer of 1993, he played another season in Marseille, but left the club after being forced down. In 1994, Boghossian moved to Serie A for SSC Napoli, who had given up a number of top performers due to financial difficulties.
After relegation in 1997 he moved to league rivals Sampdoria Genoa. However, he only stayed there for one season and moved to AC Parma in 1998. In 1999 he played in the final of the UEFA Cup against his former club Olympique Marseille and won comfortably 3-0 with his side coached by Alberto Malesani.
In 2002 Boghossian moved to the Primera División to Espanyol Barcelona. Here he only made five appearances and had to end his active career in October 2003 due to injury problems. Boghossian was a French international.
With the selection he took part in the World Championships in 1998 and 2002 and is one of the French world champions. He had also been nominated for the 2000 European Championships but was injured just before the tournament. Overall, he played 26 international matches and scored two goals.
