Caroline Wozniacki admits she misses tennis at times but definitely not the part about the hard work and effort required to reach the top. Wozniacki, 32, is a former Grand Slam champion and world No 1. After the 2020 Australian Open, Wozniacki ended her pro tennis career.

In 2021, Wozniacki and her husband David Lee welcomed their first child. Last October, Wozniacki announced that she became a mother of two. “Do you have the itch to come back to the tour?” a fan asked Wozniacki. Wozniacki responded to the question: “I don’t miss the hard work it takes to be at the top of the game.

But I love the sport and I miss the competitiveness at times.”

Another fan asked Wozniacki if she had any recommendations about who to watch at Melbourne Park. “One player I have to see at the Aussie Open this year? It is my first time at a Grand Slam,” another fan asked Wozniacki.

Wozniacki answered the fan: “Ahh so exciting! I think more than seeing 1 particular player, going around the venue and feeling the atmosphere on the outside courts in the early rounds is special. Also getting to see the top players practice up close.” Last April, Wozniacki took on Angelique Kerber in an exhibition match in Kopenhagen.

Wozniacki, who was out of action for two years at the time, defeated Kerber 7-5 6-4. After the Kopenhagen exhibition, Wozniacki said she was grateful that she was able to live out her dreams despite the Rheumatoid Arthritis diagnosis.

“Playing in my final tennis match last week was nostalgic. I’m incredibly grateful and fortunate enough to live out my dreams despite living with RA. If you want to learn more about my story, I encourage you to visit AdvantageHers.com,” Wozniacki said after the Kopenhagen exhibition.
