Since the calendar flipped to 2023 it feels like every night someone in the NBA is recording a new career-high in scoring.
From Luka Doncic’s legendary 60-20-10 game to Donovan Mitchell’s historic 71-point outburst to Giannis Antetokounmpo’s career-high 55-point outing, stars are seemingly outdoing each other every time they step on the floor.
In the spirit of the NBA’s scoring barrage, The Sporting News compiled every active All-Star’s career-high in scoring. You can find them listed alphabetically below.

With Jayson Tatum absent, Brown erupted for a career-high 50 points in a win over the Magic at the TD Garden.
Jimmy Butler career high

Butler scored his career-high 53 points as a member of the Bulls, defeating the 4-37 “Process” 76ers in Philadelphia.
Mike Conley career high
- Points: 40 points
- Date: March 5, 2019 vs. Trail Blazers
Conley went for a career-high 40 points on just 18 shots in a win over the Trail Blazers.
Stephen Curry career high
- Points: 62
- Date: Jan. 3, 2021 vs. Trail Blazers
Curry exploded for a career-high 62 points with eight made 3s against the Trail Blazers in 2021 — the same season he won his second scoring title.
Anthony Davis career high

Davis completely dominated the Pistons, going for a career-high 59 points to go with 20 rebounds in a win over the Pistons in Detroit.

Surprising enough, Durant’s career-high 55 points came as a member of the Nets in 2022, losing a close one to Trae Young and the Hawks.
Joel Embiid career high

Embiid’s career-high 59 points came in one of the most impressive individual performances in NBA history. Embiid also had 11 rebounds, eight assists and seven blocks in a win over the Jazz.
Darius Garland career high

- Date: Nov. 13, 2022 vs. Timberwolves
Without Donovan Mitchell in the lineup, Garland went off for a career-high 51 points as a comeback came up short against the Timberwolves.
Paul George career high

- Date: Dec. 5, 2015 at Jazz
It might catch you by surprise that George has never scored 50 points in a game. George went for a career-high 48 points in a loss to the Jazz as a member of the Pacers, with Derrick Favors going for 35 points for Utah.
Rudy Gobert career high
- Points: 35
- Date: March 22, 2017 vs. Knicks
Gobert had a career-high 35 points to go with 15 rebounds and four blocks in a win over Kristaps Porzingis’ Knicks.
Draymond Green career high
- Points: 31
- Date: Dec. 6, 2014 at Bulls
Not known for his scoring, Green caught fire against the Bulls in 2014, going for a career-high 31 points with seven 3-pointers.
Blake Griffin career high

The Pistons needed all 50 of Griffin’s career-high in points, defeating Joel Embiid’s 76ers by one point.
James Harden career high

As a member of the Rockets, Harden exploded for 61 points against the Knicks at Madison Square Garden, tying Kobe Bryant’s record for the most points scored by a visitor at the Mecca of Basketball.
Gordon Hayward career high

- Date: Jan. 6, 2021 at Hawks
Hayward’s career-high 44 points came in a Hornets uniform, defeating the Hawks in Atlanta.
Jrue Holiday career high

With Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton sidelined, Holiday went for 40 points in a loss to his former Pelicans. Holiday is a rare case where his playoff career-high (41) is higher than his regular season career-high.

Iguodala dropped a career-high 34 points as a member of the 76ers, going toe-to-toe with LeBron James (39 points) in a win over the Cavaliers.

Ingram’s 49 points just edged Donovan Mitchell’s 46 points as the Pelicans defeated the Jazz.

Jokic’s career-high 50 points came in a loss to the Kings during his first MVP season despite also dishing 12 assists and grabbing eight rebounds.

Jordan’s career-high 30 points came with 13 rebounds in a road win over the Celtics.
Zach LaVine career high

LaVine went for a career-high 50 points against the Hawks but Trae Young’s 42 points led his team to victory.

Leonard’s career-high of 45 points is interesting because he has also scored 45 points twice in the playoffs. In 2019, he rang in the New Year with 45 points in a win over the Jazz as a member of the Raptors.

- Date: Jan. 20, 2020 vs. Warriors
Lillard has always stepped up against the Warriors — even if Stephen Curry isn’t playing. That was the case on Jan. 20, 2020, when Lillard went off for 61 points with 11 3-pointers in an overtime win over Golden State.

Lopez’s career-high 39 points came in a Nets’ loss to Richard Hamilton and Tayshaun Prince’s Pistons back in 2011.
Kevin Love career high

As a member of the Timberwolves, Love’s career-high 51 points were spoiled by Russell Westbrook (45 points) and Kevin Durant (40) combining for 85 points.
Kyle Lowry career high

- Date: Feb. 26, 2016 vs. Cavaliers
Lowry dropped a career-high 43 points to lead the Raptors past LeBron James’ Cavaliers.
Khris Middleton career high

Middleton’s career-high 51 points came in a scoring battle with Bradley Beal, who went for 47 points. Middleton led the Bucks to victory.
Donovan Mitchell career high
- Points: 71
- Date: Jan. 2, 2023 vs. Bulls
Mitchell’s 71 points surpassed Devin Booker’s 70 for the most points in a game since Kobe Bryant dropped 81 back in 2006. Mitchell’s Cavaliers got the win in overtime against the Bulls.

Morant went off for a career-high 52 points in a win over the Spurs. He shot 22-for-33 from the field and only needed four 3-pointers.

Murray’s career-high 39 points came as a member of the Hawks. Trae Young went for 44 points in the same game, but Atlanta fell to Houston.

Oladipo went for a career-high 47 points as a member of the Pacers, defeating a young Nuggets team led by Garry Harris and Jamal Murray.

- Date: Dec. 7, 2007 vs. Grizzlies & April 3, 2009 at Warriors
Paul has notched his career-high of 43 points twice — both coming as a member of the New Orleans Hornets. His first 43-point game came in an overtime win over Pau Gasol’s Grizzlies. His second 43-point game came in a loss to the Warriors behind 39 points from Jamal Crawford.
Kristaps Porzingis career high

As a member of the Wizards, Porzingis went for a career-high 41 points in a win against the Timberwolves’ star frontcourt of Rudy Gobert and Karl-Anthony Towns.

Randle went for a career-high 46 points with nine rebounds to lead the Knicks to a win over the Kings.

Russell’s career-high didn’t come during his All-Star season with the Nets — it was during his 33-game stretch with the Warriors. Russell erupted for 52 points in a loss to the Timberwolves.

Sabonis’ career-high 42 points came as a member of the Pacers during the same season he was traded to the Kings. His career-best came in a win over the Jazz.

Siakam went off for a career-high 52 points at Madison Square Garden. He came three points shy of passing Fred VanVleet (54) for the most points in a game in Raptors franchise history.
