We are now only a matter of days away from the January transfer window opening and all of the biggest Premier League teams are expected to be busy. In fact, fresh reports now suggest that Chelsea and Tottenham are both targeting England goalkeeper Jordan Pickford, along with Manchester United. Arsenal could land Mykhaylo Mudryk this week as they plan a second offer to Shaktar Donetsk for the Ukraine forward, which would certainly be some statement of intent.
Chelsea are now in talks with Monaco over a quick-fire deal for defender Benoit Badiashile during what is expected to be a busy month for Graham Potter, who will be backed by Todd Boehly and Co. Now AC Milan’s World Cup winner Theo Hernandez is being tipped as a target, along with Joao Felix. Over at Spurs, Pedro Porro seems to be the name on everyone’s lips as Antonio Conte plots a new signing at right-back.

Betinho responds to Man United squad list gaffe
Betinho has responded in comical fashion after bizarrely being included on Manchester United’s squad list.
The little-known Portuguese striker, full name Alberto Alves Coelho, became the talk of football social media on Tuesday afternoon after somehow being included on the latest United squad list detailed on the Premier League’s official website before their meeting with Nottingham Forest, complete with the no11 shirt.
There is obviously no shock United move afoot for Betinho, with The Athletic reporting that the club referred what was described as a “technical issue” to the top-flight, who worked to get it fixed.
Still, that has not stopped the player himself from revelling in his new-found fame via Instagram Stories, screenshotting his unexpected place on the squad list along with the caption: “Thank you Manchester United. See you soon.”

ICYMI – Chelsea and Tottenham eye Pickford
Chelsea, Tottenham and Manchester United all have an interest in Jordan Pickford, reports suggest.
The England No1 looked to have committed his long-term future to Everton before the World Cup amid reports that he had agreed a five-year contract extension.
However, the Daily Mail report that the Toffees have yet to sign off on that new deal, throwing Pickford’s future into doubt.
Chelsea, Spurs and United are all said to be watching the situation very closely, with Pickford’s current contract only having 18 months left to run.
David Raya could leave Brentford
Brentford could have to fight to keep their key players.
Ivan Toney has been linked with a major move away after taking to life in the Premier League oh so well, although Thomas Frank could soon be dealing with another exit.

Their opening offer was believed to be in the region of £55million, although part of that amount was due to be paid in add-ons.
Arsenal remain in talks with Shakhtar Donetsk and are expected to return with a fresh offer for Mudryk.
The winger is Arsenal’s top target in January, but Shakhtar Donetsk have publicly said they want close to £85m for him.
