To go along with a busy weekend in boxing, Manny Pacquiao is set to make his return to the ring. The eight-division champion competes in his first exhibition bout since fighting Jesus Salud in 2002.
Pacquiao faces DK Yoo from inside the Korea International Exhibition Center on December 10.
Making his pro debut in 1995 at 16, Pacquiao has beaten the likes of Marco Antonio Barrera, Erik Morales, Oscar De La Hoya, Ricky Hatton, Shane Mosley, and Timothy Bradley. Pacquiao was on a three-fight win streak before he was scheduled to face Errol Spence Jr. An eye injury forced Spence out of the bout. Pacquiao then fought Yordenis Ugas for the WBA (Super) welterweight title in August 2021. Losing via unanimous decision, Pacquiao retired not long after.
Known to give it his all, Pacquiao is looking to do the same in this fight.

“I am very thankful for this opportunity and excited for the exhibition,” Pacquiao said at a press conference, via The Korea Times. “The fight is real. We will try to knock each other out. That’s why we need to work hard.”
DK Yoo is a self-defense instructor. He competed in one exhibition fight before this: a non-scored bout in 2021 against MMA fighter Bradley Scott.
