Halloween night 2022 is already history, but photos of tennis players in their incredible costumes remain, such as Sofya Zhuk and Anett Kontaveitt. Kontaveit wore a stunning little witch costume, which she highlighted her beautiful legs in sheer tights, a black mini dress and witch hat!

Sofya trains in Belgium at the Justine Henin Academy, where she is followed by Olivier Jeunehomme.
In 2013, at the age of 13, she triumphed at the Avvenire Tournament by winning in the final against the German Anna Gabric. In 2015, at the age of 15, she surprisingly won, without being seeded, the title of the junior women’s singles at Wimbledon, beating compatriot Anna Blinkova 7-5, 6-4 in the final.
During the tournament she did not give up even a set. Zhuk is the second Russian tennis player who made her this title, after Vera Dusevina, who in 2002 defeated Maria Sharapova in the final. Anett, in her career has won six WTA titles out of fifteen finals played and in the Grand Slam tournaments she reached the quarter-finals at the Australian Open 2020.
With this result, she became the first Estonian tennis player to reach this milestone in Australia and the second, after Kaia Kanepi, to join him in a Major. Considered the best Estonian tennis player ever, both for women and men, she has broken numerous records.
As for the world ranking, on 1 April 2019 you broke the primacy held by Kanepi (15th place reached in August 2012), climbing to 14th position. Subsequently, on November 1, 2021, she becomes one of the best ten players in the world by right, reaching the 2nd position in June 2022.
She was also the first tennis player in her country to qualify for the WTA Finals, simultaneously reaching the final. In the two-year period 2021-2022 she has struck twenty-four consecutive victories on the indoor hard-courts, becoming the sixth player in the Open Era to do so.
Before her only Steffi Graf, Monica Seles, Lindsay Davenport, Justine Henin and Jana Novotna (all number one in the world, with the exception of the Czech who finished in second place).
