Nick Kyrgios wished his mother a very happy birthday and admitted that being away from her is very difficult for him. Three weeks ago in Cincinnati, Kyrgios said that his mother was not really doing well with her health. After the US Open, Kyrgios plans to catch a plane and return to Australia to finally spend some time with his family.
“Ma, I hope you had a great birthday. I can’t tell you how hard it is for me to continue to travel and compete knowing I miss out on days like this. I know I haven’t always been the easiest to deal with and I know I’ve stressed you out.
I really miss you, I know you are dealing with so many things but I just want you to know that I don’t know anyone stronger than you. I hope I’m making you proud, you & dad,” Kyrgios wrote on Instagram.

This season and specifically summer, we have been seeing a different Kyrgios.
Kyrgios cares about winning like never before and he seems absolutely locked in and committed when on the court.
