Beckham had the V8 Vantage Volante, one of the 78 cars built for 15 years before separating from it in 2018. The car is on sale by Aston Martin Works on Auto Traderad at an exorbitant price (around 494 thousand euros), and on the odometer marks 38,100 miles (61,300 km).
Just think, as a comparison, that similar cars were sold at prestigious auctions of vintage vehicles, such as those in Scottsdale and Pebble Beach, at prices between 155 thousand and 190 thousand dollars. However for the collector who will put Beckham’s car in the garage it might be worth it given the brand, model, general conditions, ties of the celebrities and the fact that it is offered with a 12-month classic car warranty.
He has been so fond of it over the years that the specimen was shipped to Spain when he was under contract with Real Madrid. The reasons for the value of the car are different, both technical and regarding the state of conservation of the vehicle.
Made in 1988 and finished in deep red, the vehicle boasts interiors in cream-colored leather, walnut briar. The engine is a 5.3 liter V8 petrol engine developed with the X package of the Gaydon brand which brings the engine’s performance to 432 horsepower.
The gearbox is a five-speed manual: this is a rarity because most of the V8 Volante have automatic. Acceleration from or to 60 miles (96 km / h) occurs in 5.3 seconds and the maximum speed is 170 miles per hour (about 273 km / h).
