During a recent interview, former French athlete Stéphane Robert praised Novak Djokovic stating that the Serbian champion is often willing to give advice and even finance youngsters out of his own pocket. Robert recounted: “Even in training, Nole is very serious, but at the same time he remains kind.

He doesn’t hesitate to give advice to the younger ones, he is very involved and has sometimes helped the younger ones even financially.” Nebojsa Jovanovic, head of an American management company, has asked the US Open organizers to do more, because of the Novak Djokovic situation.

These are the words: “I cannot understand why the organizers of the US Open have not yet written a letter to convince the government to let Novak Djokovic in. They have limited themselves to saying that they will respect the current regulations on the entry of foreigners.

If Roger Federer or Rafael Nadal had a similar problem, I am convinced that they would have done everything possible to solve it. Did you reply to my letter? Yes, they thanked me and said they would take my request into account.”

Novak Djokovic is one of the most talked about tennis players on Tour. Throughout his career, the twenty-one-time Grand Slam title winner has been involved in particular events and has been at the center of criticism on several occasions.

In this 2022 Nole played Roland Garros and Wimbledon, but was forced to miss the Australian Open due to his decision not to get vaccinated against Covid-19. For the same reason Nole is missing the American tour and will most likely have to give up the US Open.

This situation is clearly ruining the fight in the GOAT with Rafa Nadal leading 22-21 over Djokovic in this highly anticipated matchup, but with the Serb forced to forfeit some tournaments despite him.

Schacter speaks about Djokovic

Novak Djokovic should be allowed to take part in the upcoming 2022 US Open, according to Mike Schacter, a writer at Vigour Times.

Writing an opinion piece following Walensky’s admissions, Schacter stated that Djokovic should be allowed to enter the country and compete at the year’s final Grand Slam. “Will the CDC allow one of the greatest tennis players in the world, Novak Djokovic, to enter U.S.

customs to play in the U.S. Open? Djokovic has natural immunity but has chosen not to get vaccinated. He is following the science. He’s in the absolute lowest COVID risk group on earth, and, as a young man, is at the highest risk for COVID vaccine complications. But his perspective puts him at odds with the CDC’s absolutism,” Schacter wrote.
