With Patrick Cantlay’s second consecutive win at the BMW Championship, the season on the PGA Tour is getting ready to experience its latest spectacular act. On the weekend between 25 and 28 August the TOUR Championship will be staged, a tournament that will give away the victory of the coveted FedEx Cup.

Having qualified in 125 for the playoffs of the annual competition, only 30 are left to fight for the title after the cuts arrived at the St. Jude Championship and the aforementioned BMW Championship.
The top thirty golfers of the season will compete head-on in four tense rounds. The position in the FedEx Cup ranking will give players a bonus in the starting score: from -10 with which the seasonal leader will start, as well as number 1 in the world Scottie Scheffler, to 0 which will be the starting score of the five players entered with the last places available.
Among them, the feat accomplished by the Australian Adam Scott is absolutely remarkable, able to enter the top thirty after entering the playoffs even in 77th place. Two great tournaments, both closed in top 5, made him climb 48 positions.
We said Scheffler’s -10, but who will be behind him? The second place in the ranking will give Patrick Cantlay the score of -8, followed by the -7 of Will Zalatoris, leader of FedEx after his victory at St. Jude, but forced to retire in the last tournament.
