Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham are all active in the market even as the summer window enters its final few days. Certainly, Mikel Arteta has made little secret of his desire to bring more players in during what remains of the month, with Wolves star Pedro Neto a top target in attacking areas, although there are fears the club could be priced out of a move. Youri Tielemans is another who remains on the radar, meaning it could be a busy few days for the Gunners as they wait for Leicester to drop their valuation.
Over at Chelsea, AC Milan star Rafael Leao is once again under consideration as the club continue to chase Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Anthony Gordon, as well as Wesley Fofana. The latter, who Spurs are also reportedly keen on, is now believed to have told Frank Lampard he wants to move to Stamford Bridge.
Antonio Conte, meanwhile, is thought to be eyeing Leeds star Daniel James as an alternative to Gordon as the Tottenham boss plots more signings between now and the start of September. Follow all of the latest news, gossip and rumours below!

Pedro Neto responds to Arsenal transfer interest
Pedro Neto has emerged as Arsenal’s key target this summer, although the Gunners fear being priced out of a deal.
Already this summer, the Portugal international has revealed his stance on his future.
“I always like to hear this sort of stuff but I’m focused on my job here because I’m feeling very good here,” he said to The Times.
“The things you hear makes you work even more, it’s good for you and your mentality to know that people know your value. It gives me more hunger to work harder.”
Cody Gakpo: Ruud van Nistelrooy sends Man United transfer message
Manchester United continue to chase attacking signings, with PSV star Cody Gakpo said to be on Erik ten Hag’s list.
The Dutchman, however, is preparing for a key game for his club as Rangers travel to the Netherlands to decide who gets a place in the Champions League.
Manager Ruud van Nistelrooy, however, has claimed the player is simply focused on all things PSV.
“There are lot of rumours since long time, it’s clear we’d love to keep Gakpo here at PSV”.
“He never changed his attitude in training after the rumours, that’s so good for a young player”, added.
Leeds respond to Tottenham transfer interest
Having already sold two big players this summer, Leeds are in a strong position.
Flying high this season after some impressive signings of their own, all looks good at Elland Road.
So much so in fact, that Football Insider claim the club have told Tottenham Daniel James is not for sale.
Nottingham Forest working on Tottenham swoop
Japhet Tanganga’s first-team chances at Tottenham look fairly bleak as things stand.
Antonio Conte already had a number of options in his backline, only strengthened by the arrivals of Djed Spence and Clement Lenglet.
AC Milan were reportedly keen on a move for the 23-year-old, although that move has not yet happened.
As a result, The Athletic claim free-spending Nottingham Forest are now eager to enter the mix.
Everton to enter Joao Pedro race
Joao Pedro is a man in demand.
Indeed, Watford want to keep the Brazilian at Vicarage Road to lead their promotion push, although Newcastle United remain keen.
Now, another name has been thrown into the mix.
The Daily Mail claim Everton are ready to match the Toon’s attempts to sign Pedro and could use any money they bank from Chelsea for Anthony Gordon in order to do so.
£15m deal sparks West Ham transfer flurry with midfielder bid planned
West Ham are finalising the signing of Chelsea left-back Emerson Palmieri in a £15million deal that is set to spark a flurry of late transfer activity at the London Stadium, writes Simon Collings.
Emerson underwent the second part of his medical this morning and has agreed to join West Ham for an initial fee of £13m, plus £2m in add-ons.
The Hammers are also preparing to make an improved offer for Club Brugge captain Hans Vanaken after having an opening £8m offer for the midfielder rejected.

Arsenal playing a waiting game over Youri Tielemans
Arsenal, believe it or not, remain keen on Youri Tielemans.
The Leicester City midfielder had been widely expected to leave the club this summer given he has entered the final year of his contract in the east Midlands.
With there being little chance of the Belgian international signing a new deal, a move to the Emirates Stadium seemed to make sense.
Obviously, nothing has happened just yet, though there have been fresh reports from his homeland.
According to Het Nieuwsblad, Arsenal have been “charmed” by the midfielder and are merely waiting for Leicester to drop their valuation in the final few days of the window.
Anthony Gordon makes Chelsea transfer demand
Anthony Gordon’s move to Chelsea could be edging closer.
Even despite Tottenham’s interest, the 21-year-old remains one of Thomas Tuchel’s key targets.
According to The Athletic, the Everton star has now told Frank Lampard he wants to be allowed to move to Stamford Bridge.
Daniel James: Latest update on Tottenham target
Daniel James has reportedly emerged as a shock target for Tottenham.
The Leeds star is now thought to be one of Antonio Conte’s leading targets during the final few days of the window, although a deal looks difficult to do. Indeed, Leeds aren’t believed to be under much pressure to sell after letting Kalvin Phillips and Raphinha go this summer.
According to Alan Nixon – who broke the initial story – has revealed the fee is currently the sticking point, although he expects someone to try during the final few days.
Joao Pedro: Eddie Howe plays down imminent Newcastle talk
Eddie Howe has provided an update on Newcastle United’s pursuit of Watford forward Joao Pedro.
The Brazilian has been the subject of a rejected bid, with Watford standing firm so far.
While reports have suggested a deal is now close, Eddie Howe poured cold water over that speculation.
“I think that is not entirely accurate, but I’m not dealing with those things minute to minute or day to day.
“I’m sort of hearing in the background what’s happening, but I don’t think that’s correct.”
