WTA stars Belinda Bencic and Donna Vekic compared the net handshakes on the ATP tour with the ones on the WTA one. The comparison triggered lots of laughs and funny reactions on social media.

As it can be seen from the video, the male handshakes involve more touches while women’s are distant.
WTA world number 8 Jessie Pegula was one of the first to react. “Spot on – although I think the men’s handshake could have still been more touchy feely,” said Pegula. Bencic admitted that they tried to but that it looked strange.
“Hahha yes absolutely and we also tried that but looked very weird,” Bencic responded to Pegula on Twitter. Former WTA world number 1 Chris Evert also had lots of fun watching the handshake comparison. “You two are TOO much,” Chris Evert tweeted.
