Serena Williams reveals that she has found a way to manage her business responsibilities and take care of her daughter Olympia, but admits that she has not yet found the balance of how to prioritize herself. During a conversation with Selena Gomez for the mental health platform “Wondermind,” Williams discussed the importance of mental health.

“It’s hard! It’s not easy, that’s why I said I can do better, because I do all these things: I do my job and then I do VC (venture capital) stuff and then I do Olympia stuff, my daughter, but I don’t do Serena stuff.

And I’m still trying to find the balance of how to prioritize myself,” Williams said during a conversation with Selena Gomez, according to Sportskeeda. Last week, Williams revealed her plans to retire from professional tennis at this year’s US Open.

Once her tennis career is over, Williams plans to focus on business and family. In her article for Vogue, Williams revealed that she and her husband hope to welcome a second child in the near future. “I’m super disciplined in tennis.

And without trying to pontificate, I know what it takes to be successful and be the best at something. So it’s really interesting how that translates to other aspects of my life,” Williams said. “With venture capital, I know I need a good team.

I need to work a certain number of hours to get these deals done. I have to understand what the formula is. You know, the formula that I’ve used in tennis works with what What am I doing here? And normally it does.”

This week, Williams suffered a first round loss to Emma Raducanu in the first round of Cincinnati. Now, there is only one tournament left on Williams’ schedule: the US Open, which starts on August 29.

Sinclair pays tribute to Serena

Canadian soccer star Christine Sinclair has heaped praise on Serena Williams.

“She’s potentially the greatest female athlete of all time. I think the way she’s conducted herself through this transition, it’s like with grace. I think it’s how it should be done,” Sinclair said.

Sinclair agreed with the American tennis legend, saying that athletes can do so much more even after calling time on their professional playing careers. “Too many people use the word retirement, and it just seems like such an end and so drastic.

And so final. All athletes go through it and you’re just, like she said, evolving into a new part of your life,” she said.
