Seven years and four months after the last time, Richie Ramsay finds success and celebrates his fourth career victory on the DP World Tour. In Southport, England, the Scotsman has made his own, with a total of 274 (69 69 67 69 , -14) hits, the Cazoo Classic.
On the Hillside Golf Club course (par 72), with a final round closed in 69 (-3), with four birdies (three of which were made in the last four holes) and a bogey, he climbed up from second position and mocked the English Paul Waring, runner up with 275 (-13).

Bagarre in 3rd place with 276 (-12), shared by the Swedes Marcus Kinhult and Robin Petersson but also by the Dutch Daan Huizing, the French Julien Guerrier and the Scottish Grant Forrest. For Ramsay, 39, from Aberdeen, it is the victory of the ransom.
After the affirmations at the South African Open Championship (2009), the Omega European Masters (2012) and the Trophèe Hassan II (2015), he seemed to have lost his way. And instead the Scot (who also boasts two exploits on the Challenge Tour, both in 2008), has returned to impose himself on the DP World Tour.
Richie Ramsay (born 15 June 1983) is a professional golfer from Scotland. Ramsay was in the national selection from 1999-2007.
Ramsay was the first Scotsman in over a hundred years to win the US Amateur. In 2007 he played the US Open, and was assigned to Tiger Woods in the first two rounds.
When the R&A established the new World Amateur Ranking on January 23, 2007, he was number 1 on that list.

Ramsay turned pro in 2007.
His first tournament was the Moscow Open. Later that year he won the Vodafone Challenge in Germany and the Open de Toulouse, allowing him to play on the Challenge Tour (CT) in 2008. There he finished in 8th place so that he played on the European Tour (ET) in 2009.
