The world’s first ATP number one Ilie Nastase was scolded by his younger wife Ioana in public before an event scheduled during his birthday. The whole incident was reported by Romanian tabloid Cancan. Ioana Năstase warned Ilie that she is willing to disappear from his life.

“What son?! About two months ago, Ilie told me that he had come and put his hand on his shoulder and said to him: ‘Ilie, my father has died! From today on, I want you to be my father!’. But I also ask a pertinent question: why doesn’t this gentleman go to an asylum to take an old man from there to call him his father? Why Ilie? I didn’t want to give anything to the press so far because I’m not the type!
But the last time Ilie and I met this man, I was sick and he took me by ambulance! They took me straight from the table! I felt sick in the presence of that man! I am an obstacle for them, I try to protect Ilie as much as I can.
No one enters Ilie’s life with boots on! This man is manipulating him, he’s a better manipulator than Ilie. He entered his soul, promised him everything. Ilie insisted that we go to Iasi (Romanian city) with him before his birthday.
We returned to Bucharest, I had no idea about this press conference that this man organized. They did everything behind me. A lady called to tell me: you know where Ilie is now, who is he with? The man organized a conference with his wife with whom he is not even married!
I got in the taxi, I got there, the man hid from me! Ilie said he was not there! I got angry! Basically, they were hiding from me! I feel in danger! He’s trying to eliminate me! It’s risky for me, I have a family, a child, a grandson.
