ESPY Award winners 2022: Live results, highlights, best moments from the ESPYs

The 2022 ESPYs are Wednesday night, which means the biggest stars in sports will be out in full force in Los Angeles.

There are 36 categories this year, including staples like best NBA player, best NFL player, best WNBA player, best game and best play. The award show is also a time for those involved to strut their stuff on the red carpet.

Stephen Curry will be the host, and the show will begin at 8 p.m. ET. Expect to see some nerves from one of the coolest shooters in sports. He said he talked to previous hosts to acclimate himself.

“I talked to Drake and Peyton Manning about what the hosting gig is really like, so I’m obviously nervous and excited and all the different emotions,” Curry said, per People.

In addition to the awards, there are always plenty of skits and monologues. The Sporting News will be following those moments and posting highlights from them as well.
