Arsenal, Tottenham and Chelsea might all be on far-flung pre-season tours, but that has not stopped them from getting down to transfer business. All three London clubs have been amongst the busiest in Europe so far and little about that looks as if it’ll ease up.
Mikel Arteta is reportedly closing in on his second swoop on former club Manchester City, having supposedly reached an agreement with the Premier League champions over a £30m fee for Oleksandr Zinchenko. Over at Chelsea, both Raheem Sterling and Kalidou Koulibaly have joined the club while out in the USA, and Jules Kounde could be next. Certainly, it looks like Thomas Tuchel is being backed by the club’s new owners.
Tottenham, meanwhile, finally appear to be closing in on the signing of Djed Spence. The defender – a key target for Antonio Conte – underwent a medical on Friday. James Maddison is also reportedly a midfield target. Follow all of the latest transfer action LIVE with Standard Sport’s transfer centre!

Zinchenko fee agreed
Arsenal and Manchester City have now agreed a deal over the transfer of Oleksandr Zinchenko.
A £30million deal is nearing completion, according to Fabrizio Romano, with just personal terms left to be sorted.
That is not expected to be a problem, as Zinchenko looks set to join Gabriel Jesus in leaving City to join Arsenal.
William Saliba opens up on Arsenal plans
William Saliba is determined to fight for his place in the Arsenal first team as he looks to finally make his mark in north London.
The centre-back signed for the Gunners three years ago but since then has been back in France for various loan spells, bringing into doubt whether he had a long-term future at Arsenal under Mikel Arteta.
Despite that time away, and rumours of a potential permament move to Marseille, Saliba has made it clear this summer that he wants to return to Arsenal and try and force his way into Arteta’s plans.

However, Gnabry has extended his deal at Bayern to put any such speculation to bed.
