Sungjae Im is just one of the golfers who has been associated with LIV Golf. There was a lot of talk about him leaving the Travelers Championship. Precisely for all these reasons, Sungjaei decided to send a message via Instagram and resolve the dilemmas.
He revealed that he is completely focused on the PGA Tour and has no intention of leaving it. “I would like to address the public as there seems to be speculation regarding my withdrawal from the Travelers Championship,” Im posted on Instagram.
“I have been dealing with some back pain over the past few days, which hasn’t improved. I decided to rest and get treatment in order to be able to finish the season strong. “Rest assured that I am fully committed to the PGA Tour.
It has been my lifelong dream to compete on the PGA Tour and I am blessed to have this platform to be able to play with and against the best players in the world. “For the record, I would also like to state publicly that I have no affiliation with, and have no intention of discussing an affiliation with, the LIV Tour.
“I am hoping for a speedy recovery and I look forward to seeing you at a PGA Tour event soon!”
Collin Morikawa’s decision
Collin Morikawa is another one of those rumored to intend to perform at LIV Golf. However, for the same reasons, he also sent a message via social media and resolved all dilemmas.
The PGA Tour is what he is focused on and where he sees himself in the coming period. “To state for the record, once again, you all are absolutely wrong. I’ve said it since February at Riviera that I’m here to stay on the @PGATOUR and nothing has changed. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’ve got some cereal to pour in my milk.”
