Liverpool’s Salah wins PFA Player of the Season
Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah appears to have been given the same answer as Sadio Mane had during contract talks with the club.
Mane is set to seal his £35.1million move to Bayern Munich this week where he will reportedly earn £360,000-a-week after entering thew final year of his contract at Anfield. Salah has committed to playing for the Reds this season, but may also have to look for a move elsewhere if he wants to be paid the sort of numbers he is widely-thought to have requested.
It comes as talented right-back Calvin Ramsay has joined Liverpool from Aberdeen. And Naby Keita’s Liverpool career could be back on track following a difficult spell with injuries following his move from RB Leipzig in 2018.

Salah’s final contract offer
Sadio Mane’s move to Bayern Munich appears to show Mohamed Salah will not be offered the £400,000-a-week contract he is asking for.
Like Mane, Salah has just one year left on his current Liverpool contract but unlike his teammate, the Egyptian has committed to at least one more year with the Reds. Mane, meanwhile, appears set to seal his move to Bayern Munich where he will reportedly earn £360,000-a-week.
The move shows the Reds are unwilling to break their strict wage structure – even to keep one of the best players in the world. And that may not bode well for Salah as he aims for a pay rise in order to stay at the club beyond next season.

Klopp’s Keita hint
Jurgen Klopp has hinted where Naby Keita’s Liverpool future lies.
The Guinea international has suffered a string of injuries since moving to England in 2018 which have hampered his chances of nailing down a regular first-team place. But Keita hit his stride last season as he finally managed a consistent run of form in a Liverpool shirt.
And Reds boss Jurgen Klopp insists the midfielder has a “bright future” at the club – despite only having one year left on his contract.
