The Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) has decided to terminate all sponsorship deals with Dustin Johnson and Graeme McDowell following the decision by the American and Northern Irishman to play the first Arab Super League tournament (the LIV Golf Series) scheduled since 9 to 11 June at Centurion GC in London.

In February 2019 he won the WGC Mexico Championship for the second time in three years, bringing his wins to 6 in the WGC circuit, second only to Tiger Woods, a few weeks after winning the Saudi Arabia Open organized by the European Tour.
In June 2020, after the resumption of the PGA Tour from the lockdown period, he won the Travelers Championship for the first time, obtaining his twenty-first success on the PGA Tour and bringing to 13 consecutive seasons in which he managed to win at least one title.
In August 2020 he wins again the Northern Trust with the record score of -30 under par, he ends the season by winning the FedEx Cup for the first time. On November 15, 2020 he wins the Augusta Masters first with a total of 268 (-20) strokes, the lowest score ever achieved in the competition.
