The third round of the Dutch Open 2022 ended, with the sun shining on the Bernardus Golf in Cromvoirt, which hosts the only Dutch tournament of the DP World Tour. In the lead are the French Victor Perez and the English Matt Wallace; for one -3 and recovery of four positions, for the other -2 and climb of two.
Both are at -10 overall, and if for the transalpine this could mean the road to the second continental victory, for the albionic it could become the fifth. Perez expects from 2019, Wallace from 2018.
Victor Perez and Matt Wallace, results
Italian satisfaction in the third group at -9, because there is Guido Migliozzi who, with four birdies and two bogeys, climbs another two places and legitimately aspires to dreams of success.
With him the New Zealander Ryan Fox, the Australian Scott Hend and the Swede Sebastian Soderberg, all of whom have already won events on the circuit in the past. The moving day does not do well for Ricardo Gouveia: his leadership does not remain so, as the 30-year-old from Faro, Portugal, closes the day two strokes above par and drops to 7th place (-8) together with the other Swede Alexander Bjork and Adrian Meronk from Poland.
Tenth alone, and the only one not to change his perspective, the German Marcel Schneider at -7. Different sensations among the other Italians: Lorenzo Gagli earns six places on par and is 18th with a total score of -3, while in the same way Edoardo Molinari holds the -1 total and is 37th.
Francesco Laporta drops slightly (+2 today, equal with the par in the tournament), and is 46th, while Andrea Pavan runs into a very bad day with today’s +9 which means +6 overall. For him 63rd place. In the Netherlands, in the third round of the Dutch Open, Guido Migliozzi made a comeback and, with a partial of 70 (-2) out of a total of 207 (69 68 70, -9), he moved up from fifth to third position.
In Cromvoirt, on the Bernardus Golf course (par 72) and in the DP World Tour tournament, when there is only one lap left from the end of the competition, the driver from Vicenza is only one shot away from the summit occupied by the French Victor Perez (67 70 69) and from English Matt Wallace (69 67 70), both leading with 206 (-10).
In the Netherlands, Migliozzi – a 25-year-old from Veneto – is chasing his third career success on the circuit, three years after his last success arrived in Belgium in June 2019. Migliozzi in the Netherlands shares third position with Australian Scott Hend, Swede Sebastian Soderberg and New Zealander Ryan Fox.
As for the other Azzurri, the Florentine Lorenzo Gagli is just outside the Top 20, 22nd with 213 (68 73 72, -3). Further back Edoardo Molinari, 37 / o with 215 (73 70 72, -1), Francesco Laporta, 46 / o with 216 (71 71 74, par) and Andrea Pavan, 63 / o with 222 (67 74 81, +6 ).
