Dutch Open, Ricardo Gouveia
Great protagonist of the day was the Chinese Haotong Li, second at a distance from the leader. Unreal 63-stroke round, by far the best of the tournament so far, embellished with eight birdies and an eagle, also at the same hole as the Portuguese.
The English Matt Wallace and the Polish Adrian Meronk follow in third place, both at -8. In the group of five players in fifth place we also find the blue Guido Migliozzi, finally able to propose himself in two consecutive days at the levels we know he can maintain.
Lap in 68 strokes for him that allows him to gain 16 positions and go to -7. Together with him the Finnish Mikko Korhonen, the French Victor Perez, the English Jack Senior and the Australian Ryan Fox. A day to forget for yesterday’s leader, as well as landlord, Joost Luiten, who lost 18 positions with a 3-stroke lap over PAR.
In addition to the aforementioned Migliozzi, there are five Azzurri who have managed to overcome the cut. 29th place for Andrea Pavan and Lorenzo Gagli, both a bit subdued after the great first round. Francesco Laporta and Edoardo Molinari did very well, respectively, 39th and 49th, with the latter able to climb 38 positions.
Nino Bertasio is also saved, 65 ° at -1 despite the fear of the bogey on the last hole. The only one to remain out among the Italians in the race is Renato Paratore who closes another round above PAR and does not go beyond 125th place.
In the Netherlands, in the second round of the Dutch Open, Migliozzi recovered from 21st to 5th position with a score of 137 (69 68, -7). In Cromvoirt, on the Bernardus Golf course (par 72), the Vicenza-based mid-race player is three strokes away from the Portuguese Ricardo Gouveia, the new leader with 134 (-10).
Six birdies and a double bogey (at 18, the last of his day) for Migliozzi who, without that mistake, would have occupied the second position like the Chinese Haotong Li who, with a 63 (-9), signed the best score of the day, signing an eagle and eight birdies, with a bogey.
In the high ranking, in the Netherlands, there are also the English Matt Wallace and Adrian Meronk, third with 136 (-8). While the Florentine Lorenzo Gagli and the Roman Andrea Pavan lost ground, now 28 / i with 141 (-3). Also the Apulian Francesco Laporta, 39 / o with 142 (-2), and the Turin Edoardo Molinari, 48 / o with 143 (-1) make it past the cut.
Nothing to do for the Brescia Nino Bertasio, 66 / o with 144 (par) and the Roman Renato Paratore, 125 / o with 150 (+6), both out.
