A round of applause for his career, personality and what tennis has been like for all these years. Jo-Wilfred Tsonga ended his adventure as a professional tennis player on the Philippe-Chatrier center court in the 2022 edition of Roland Garros.

The Frenchman also fought in his last match against a fearsome Casper Ruud, going one step away from taking the match to the fifth set: a match that gave him the right recognition for the various goals achieved. At the end of the match, the great and moving party in honor of him was held, with the participation of the other transalpine athletes currently in circulation and the absolute protagonist audience, dedicating a truly creepy standing ovation to him.

Tsonga was the only Frenchman of this last 15 years to reach a Slam in the men’s singles: he did it at the Australian Open 2008, losing against Novak Djokovic. Here are the videos of the tribute, disseminated by the social networks of the Parisian tournament.
