Jabra Ladies Open, event
At the end of the 36 holes only 3 of the nearly 50 projects on the entry list would have qualified. The two blue Virginia Elena Carta and Martina Flori also tried, but without success.
The appointment with the Jabra Ladies Open, however, is not new. The 1st edition of the event dates back to 2017, when the tournament became part of the LET Access Series, while the next two editions were double-ranked events in both the Access Series and the LET, until last year.
On the field we will find defending champion Pia Babnik, who last year won her first title on the Tour, 17 years old, also securing a 1st position in the Race to Costa del Sol. At his side there will also be another former winner of the event: the English Annabel Dimmock, together with the protagonists of the events of the current season such as the Swedish n ° 1 in the Race to Costa del Sol Maja Stark, the Finnish Sanna Nuutinen, Argentine Magdalena Simmermacher who excelled in last week’s Aramco Team Series, Lydia Hall, who just earned a spot at Pine Needles Lodge & Golf Club in North Carolina from June 2-5 for the U.S.
Women’s Open, together with South African Nicole Garcia and Denmark’s Smilla Tarning Soenderby. The only Italian in the field, which we will follow closely, will be the Lucrezia Colombotto Rosso project. The Jabra Ladies Open is a professional golf tournament, introduced into the Ladies European Tour program in 2018.
The tournament takes place at the Evian Resort Golf Club in France and since 2014 has been the European qualifying competition for the Evian Championship, the largest female continental Europe.
