This Sunday at 2 p.m., Granada (16th) received the red lantern Levante (20th) on behalf of the 32nd day of La Liga. The Andalusian formation, in red and white, started the match in 5-4-1 while the Granotes in black were aligned in 5-3-2. It was the visiting team that quickly made the difference, after a good back pass from José Luis Morales, Spanish striker Dani Gomez quietly pushed the ball into the back of the net (17th, 0-1). The Rojiblancos could come back to score just before half-time but Sergio Escudero’s free kick crashed into the crossbar of Cardenas (42nd). Levante returned to the locker room with this score of 0-1.
At the start of the second half, the Valencians quickly obtained a penalty for a delayed intervention by German Sanchez, the latter at the same time receiving a second yellow card and was expelled (55th). José Luis Morales transformed the penalty by taking Maximiano on the wrong foot (56th, 0-2). In numerical superiority, Levante took off, on a new pass from Morales, Mickael Malsa once again found the way to the nets (77th, 0-3). Granada saved the honor at the end of the game through Alex Collado (92nd, 1-3), but the Granotes scored a new goal just after thanks to a goal from Roberto Soldado (94th, 1-4) which allowed his team to finally win 1-4. Thanks to this away success, Levante leaves the last place and goes 19th, Granada remains 16th in La Liga, before the other matches of the day.
