According to The Sun, Newcastle would track Watford winger Ismaïla Sarr. The 24-year-old Senegalese is likely to leave the Hornets during the next transfer window, especially if the club, currently 18th in the Premier League, is relegated. Newcastle could shell out around €40m to buy out the last two years of Sarr’s contract next summer.
The Senegalese international, who won the CAN in January with his country, would also be of interest to Liverpool. This season, Sarr has made 16 appearances for the Hornets, scoring five goals and providing one assist. He wouldn’t be the English club’s only attacking start as Watford could also lose another striker at the end of the season. 24-year-old Nigerian striker Emmanuel Dennis would be on the shelves for Villarreal.
