Moussa Diaby discusses his departure from PSG –

In a newspaper interview The Parisian this Sunday, Bayer Leverkusen winger Moussa Diaby returned to the reasons for his departure from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2019. The 22-year-old Frenchman does not regret his choice to have left the capital and does not want think too much about his training club, which however always remains in his heart. “PSG remains a special club in my heart. I can’t tell you if I could have my place, but if I were still there, I would give everything to have the same status at PSG as the one I currently have at Bayer Leverkusen. When you think too much about your exes, you don’t move forward.Diaby said.

The Leverkusen left winger went on to explain why he had to leave PSG to advance and progress in his career even though it hasn’t been easy for him. “I was in my comfort zone because I was born in Paris, I lived in Paris, I did everything in Paris… I had to change context, discover a new championship, a new language, new people. This choice was not easy but I decided to do it wholeheartedly”says the tricolor international who is having a good season this year with 16 goals and 9 assists in 35 matches played with the German team.
