The former president of Olympique de Marseille Jacques-Henri Eyraud was present at the Vélodrome stadium on Friday evening during the international match between the French team and Côte d’Ivoire (2-1). The former Olympian leader, who was seen in the stands, returned to Marseille for the first time since his ousting in February 2021.
Eyraud had been removed from his post following the violent crisis that OM had experienced with its supporters, with in particular the attack on the Commandery. Frank McCourt, the owner of the club, then replaced the French entrepreneur with the current president of Olympique de Marseille, Pablo Longoria.
