Arriving at the club against a check for €56m in January 2020 from Sporting Lisbon, Bruno Ferdandes could extend his contract with Manchester United. The Portuguese, under contract until June 2025, currently earns €120,000 a week, however he is on the club’s lower salary bracket despite being one of the most important players.
In order to remedy this, the Mancunian management would be ready to offer him a contract extension until 2027 with the key to a salary increase. His salary could now stand at €288,000 per week, which would make him the club’s third highest-paid player behind David De Gea and Cristiano Ronaldo. Currently with its national selection, the formalization will have to wait a few more days according to The Telegraph.
