These ten legends are part of the Premier League Hall of Fame. The last two have just been added according to Skysports. The Frenchman, who won three times the championship and once the title of best player with Arsenal, and who was captain during the title of the Invincibles in 2003-2004, declared, on the announcement of his induction into the Hall of Fame: “Being there with the best players in the Premier League, the best league in the world, is more important than I thought. Having my name among these players makes me proud and makes me realize how good I was.”
For his part, Wayne Rooney won the Premier League five times with Manchester United, scoring many goals, to become the second top scorer in the history of the championship (208 goals). “It is a huge honor for me to be named to the Premier League Hall of Fame, alongside an incredible group of players who have already been inducted. Entering the Hall of Fame is very special to me personally and I am grateful to be recognized,” said the current Derby County manager.
