Former Romanian striker Adrian Mutu became the coach of Rapid Bucharest on Wednesday. The club from the Romanian capital, currently 9th in the league, announced in a press release the appointment of its new coach, who has signed up until June 2023.
Passed by Chelsea, Inter and also by AC Ajaccio in France, the 43-year-old former striker thus begins a fourth experience on the sidelines. He has already coached FC U Craiova 1948 in Romanian D1 and was also coach of the Romanian under-21 team.
