Already at the heart of the controversy after the bottle throwing at Dimitri Payet at Groupama Stadium against OM, not to mention the chilling scenes at the Charléty stadium in the Coupe de France against Paris FC, Olympique Lyonnais could once again find themselves in full storm due to the behavior of its own supporters. Indeed, if OL won this Sunday against Canet-en-Roussillon in the round of 16 of the Coupe Gambardella (2-0), the Pyrénées-Orientales club denounced, this Monday, the ” lynching” of a minor supporter by Lyon fans. On his official account Twitterthe club thus took over a video where we see ultras from the south corner playing football against young people from Canet during Gambardella’s half-time by publishing a message aimed at tempering.
“A beautiful image tarnished by the lynching of one of our minor supporters at the end of the match by your group of supporters. Our club cannot tolerate such actions.thus indicates the amateur club before announcing that “several complaints will be filed very quickly”. New troubles in perspective for the club chaired by Jean-Michel Aulas who has just indicated, via a press release, that he was going to investigate this affair: “OL learned from the networks that a Canet supporter had been attacked by individuals and has just contacted the club manager for information. OL had not organized any trips and will investigate the facts. OL condemns all violence”. To be continued…
