The quarter-finals of the Coupe de France are being played this week. If Monaco has already eliminated Amiens this Tuesday evening (2-0), there are still three games left including Bergerac Périgord (N2) against Versailles (N2) or the Nice shock against Marseille and the reception of Bastia (L2) in Nantes. For these matches, the Federation has decided to put in place several measures that were not present until this stage of the competition.

In terms of refereeing, the VAR, which was not used in the previous rounds for the sake of fairness in the stadiums, will be used for these four matches as well as for the semi-finals and the final. On the other hand, the Goal Line Technology will not be implemented. There will also be no extra time, as in previous rounds, the two teams will decide in a penalty shootout in the event of a tie after 90 minutes. Extra time will only appear in the final. Also note the fact that players will be able to wear their usual jersey number in the league, while the holders had to be numbered from 1 to 11 until then.
