Galatasaray and Fatih Terim, it’s over. The Turkish club announced on Monday the departure “by mutual agreement” of the most famous technicians in the country. The 68-year-old man pays for the current poor season of the Istanbul team, which is only 12th place behind Süper Lig after 20 days of the championship.
Fatih Terim, who won 8 of the 22 national titles in Galatasaray history, but also the 2000 UEFA Cup at the expense of Arsenal (the only C3 won by a Turkish team), had returned to this bench in December 2017, to write a fourth chapter as a coach after three passages (1996-2000, 2002-2004 then 2011-2013).
