Chairman of the Edo State Sports Commission, Godwin Dudu-Orumen and staff of the Commission have felicitated with Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki on his diamond birthday.
In a message to the Governor yesterday, Dudu-Orumen described Obaseki as a man of destiny and bridge builder, adding that his arrival as governor was ‘not fortuitous but a divinely ordained step to turn around the fortunes of the state.’
Dudu-Orumen said, “The creation of the Sports Commission is a testament to your vision, passion and commitment to repositioning the state in Nigeria’s sporting firmament.
“We are grateful to you for your leadership and support, which have seen our beloved state begin to excel in national competitions, and its sons and daughters blazing the trail in international sporting events.
“As you celebrate today, we join the people of Edo State and millions of Nigerians proud of the leadership and direction you are providing for Edo State, and the bridges you are building across tribal and religious divides, to honour you. Happy Birthday sir and may God continue to strengthen you for the good work you are doing for our dear state and Nigeria. God bless you always Mr. Governor.”
